The Lost Gardens of Heligan

The Heligan Christmas Fair takes place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th December from 10am to 4pm. From 3rd December, a traditional Christmas Lunch is served with all the festive trimmings in the Heligan Kitchen, warmed by a welcoming wood burner on crisp days,
The Eden Project
Enjoy a magical after-dark Christmas experience, all new for 2018, with giant projections, playful light sculptures and live music. Where else can you combine a visit to a tropical rainforest and go ice-skating? www.edenproject.com
The National Trust
The Victorians revived old traditions, such as decorating homes with greenery and singing carols and they also invented new ones, like crackers, decorating a Christmas tree and sending Christmas cards. You’ll find all these traditions and more celebrated inside Lanhydrock house near Bodmin, which has been beautifully decorated and atmospherically lit for the festive season.
The Christmas garland at Cotehele is a must-see. Each year Cotehele gardeners build a 60ft-long garland from thousands of flowers grown on the estate. A tradition since 1956, the garland adorns the Tudor Hall throughout Christmas, with local choirs providing festive entertainment. www.nationaltrust.org.uk
